Generate an Emergency Plan
Available on all plans
From your project's Documents tab, start the Emergency Plan. It's the shortest wizard in the product — two steps — because the plan renders from emergency information you've already set once.
Generate it
On a phone, the Step 1 of 2 · Emergency Contacts bar above the wizard shows where you are — tap it to list both steps and jump back to any you've completed.
Emergency Contacts — check the pre-filled list.
Site manager, client and principal designer come from your project people, with 999 and the HSE Incident Contact Centre added for you. Add any site-specific numbers.
Review & Create — click Create Emergency Plan.
Approve the document, then collect sign-offs via the crew link.
AI drafts never guess emergency details
Where AI drafting fills in wording, it uses only what your project records — it will never guess the nearest A&E, site features or people's names. Anything missing is written as "to be confirmed" until you fill it in. Set the nearest A&E on the project's Details tab under Emergency Information — click Look up nearest A&E from the site address to find it from your site postcode — and review the pre-fill before approving.
Changing emergency details later
Edit them under Details → Emergency Information — then regenerate the plan (and any other documents that use them) so the PDFs match. Workers re-sign the new version.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't the wizard ask about my fire strategy or assembly point?
Those are set once in your project's Details tab under Emergency Information — fire strategy, assembly point, nearest A&E, first aid, emergency procedures, scenarios and utility isolation points all flow into the plan automatically. Incident (RIDDOR) reporting is included for you.
Do workers sign the Emergency Plan?
Yes — emergency plans always collect worker sign-off, same as site inductions and toolbox talks. Send the crew link and track it on the Worker Sign-Off panel.
